She was born on 17 February 1960 in Delhi. Ujjwala Jyoti Tigga has poetic idioms and also a neat and well mannered way of expressing them. More importantly, her skill to think, understand and express it is different. Her poems in "Dharati Ke Anam Yodhha" (Unnamed warriors of the Earth) target the status quoism and the intention of the monopoly gang and to break this monopoly, she creates a light of hope through her poems. In many of her poems, she hurts the prevailing social disparity in the country with different attitudes. Sometimes she used to write in the form of questions and sometimes directly. In her poems, there is a wonderful advice to destroy the established system and traditional perspective and interpret it from a new perspective. It is not without reason that she describes light as more dangerous than darkness. This rare coincidence of Adivasidom proves her poems to be different from others.
