This foundation has been named to honour the great Adivasi educationist, social reformer, political activist and pioneer in cultural movement- late Pyara Kerketta (1903-1973). Armed with ideals and cultural values of Pyara Kerketta, the foundation is engaged in carrying on the task of social and educational progress. The main objective of the foundation is to bring about a cogent and meaningful change in the lives of the people of Jharkhand in general and the Adivasis and the deprived in particular, in issues related to culture and education through new experiments and ideas.
